On Sunday the foster mom woke me up very early. She was busy making food and packing bags, and I was getting very excited. My tail was wagging non-stop.
We went for a quick car ride, and suddenly we were at Miller Park! My foster mom took me to a Milwaukee Brewers game! We got there early and tailgated in the beautiful spring weather.
She even made me my very own hot dog! I kept watch over the grill to make sure she was cooking them just right, and then I got to eat it all by myself.
We met lots of nice people tailgating around us, and I even got to sit in this one-of-a-kind chair. It was really cool, and I wanted one of my own, but I don't think it would fit in my travel case.
After we were stuffed with food, we went into the game and saw all kinds of cool things.
I was on top of the Brewers dugout and right behind home plate while the teams took batting practice. Then, I got to take my picture on a red carpet! It is baseball's opening week, and this was just the 3rd home game for the Brewers. I also learned that this is the 100th anniversary of the song "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." To honor it, I woofed it extra loudly during the 7th inning stretch.
I met some nice little boys who held me while we sat in a giant baseball glove. There is a really nice, new kids area there, and this plush pup wanted to try everything!
I also got my picture taken with the designated driver lady. She couldn't resist a cute guy like myself.
And then, the highlight of my weekend, I got to meet ALL of the famous Racing Sausages!!! First we got to see them race on the field. On Sundays, they do a relay race, and the mini-sausages get to finish the race.
Then, after the race, my mom took me for a walk, and I suddenly saw them! They were huge, and this pup's mouth was watering at the thought of a hot dog that big! I could have chowed on something like that for a month!!!!
They were all very nice to me. The polish sausage was petting me, and the brat gave me the thumbs up! It was so cool, and I felt like the most popular plush pup in the land!!! It was a very cool and very tiring day.
