Wendell was devastated to learn today that one of his foster brudders, Rudolph Brazzle Utz, made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge. A sweet senior saved from terrible living conditions, Rudolph first lived with his mom Marilyn at House of Puddles. He could not adjust to life at HOP, however, and so Marilyn found an angel mom in Gail Utz, who accepted this sweet old guy and introduced him to all the joys of life on the farm (including chickens!! Rudolph LOVED to chase the chickens!!).
The Utz family doted on this sweet guy, nursing him through agonizing heartworm treatments and other ailments (all caused by his harsh earlier life). They brought joy and love and LIFE to his final months -- and he became a poster hound for the cruelties caused by heartworm prevention negligence.
Wendell is proud to have waddled in Rudolph's pawprints -- and he send heartfelt ahrooos to his family (the Utzes as well as the huge community of people who loved Rudolph and rooted for him daily). He had a HUGE family that loved him -- and we all wish him Godspeed (and plentiful chickens to chase at the Bridge).
