Happy Mother's Day

Wendell's mom here... While I'm missing my boy on this Mother's Day, I know he is having a grand time in the house on wheels with Bob the dog! And a kind Drooler helped him send me a Mother's Day card from the wonderful animated Jacquie Lawson site.

So I want to extend a heartfelt Happy Mother's Day to all the foster moms who have taken such great care of my Wendell on his journey and especially to all the great rescue foster moms out there who give so many rescued dogs a second chance. They give each scared, confused and lost pup a place to heal and learn to trust again, and when a newly confident, healthy and happy dog leaves them for a forever home, they give each a piece of their heart. So Happy Mother's Day to all the foster dog moms out there!

P.S. Wendell, thank you for the card -- but remember to behave yourself and be nice to your foster mom Kathy. I've heard that Bob the Dog can be a rascal ... so don't go getting into TOO much trouble together!
